We present a paradigm of effectiveness for data professionals, addressing client and project management, trust building, risk and issue management, and communication, to establish a solid basis for working effectively with clients and colleagues.
Who should take this course?
Current and aspiring technical professionals in data, including analytics, statistics, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data management and administration, and information technology, among others.
What will I learn from this course?
You will:
- Understand the importance and the implications of considering your clients, colleagues, collaborators, and yourself as individual humans who happen to exist in a professional context.
- Learn how to guide your thinking in determining how you can be effective for a wide variety of professional interpersonal situations.
- Gain awareness and understanding of the reasons and motivations for how to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and collaborators, and the foundational ideas behind why they work.
- Learn to translate these learnings to approaches and activities in client management, project management, task planning and management, issue resolution, and communication.
